Galations 2: 20

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Verses I like.......

If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But people who are alone when they fall are in real trouble.
Ecclesiastes 4:10 NLT

"Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me--watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly." Matthew 11:28-30 (msg)

My child, don't lose sight of good planning and insight. Hang on to them.
Proverbs 3:21 NLT

So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today.
Matthew 6:34 NLT

Seek his will in all you do, and he will direct your paths.
Proverbs 3:6 NLT

Get all the advice and instruction you can, and be wise the rest of your life.
Proverbs 19:20 NLT

The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those who are crushed in spirit.
Psalm 34:18 NLT

Psalm 55:22 Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall.

Hebrews 13:5,6 God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you," So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?"

Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation- whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life- of whom shall I be afraid?

Psalm 42:5,6 Why are you downcast. O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.

Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

well that's a lot of verses but how are you supposed to chose just one?

Psalms 20

1 May the LORD answer you when you are in distress;
may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.

2 May he send you help from the sanctuary
and grant you support from Zion.

3 May he remember all your sacrifices
and accept your burnt offerings.
Selah

4 May he give you the desire of your heart
and make all your plans succeed.

5 We will shout for joy when you are victorious
and will lift up our banners in the name of our God.
May the LORD grant all your requests.

6 Now I know that the LORD saves his anointed;
he answers him from his holy heaven
with the saving power of his right hand.

7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.

8 They are brought to their knees and fall,
but we rise up and stand firm.

9 O LORD, save the king!
Answer us when we call!

philippians 3:12-14

I'm not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don't get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I've got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I'm off and running, and I'm not turning back.

Before July of last year, I wasn't at all close with God. Then my father died, and I somehow got closer. But at his memorial service, on the program, was a verse. (It's on a lot of funeral programs.. that I've seen.) And it's been my favorite ever since.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity
under heaven:

a time to be bon and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
